The Cinema Boys are a group of Nottingham based film lovers who got together during lockdown; at first remotely streaming, and then screening cinema: to build a collective where they could share their love of the art of the moving image.
To qualify as a Certified Cinema Boys Classic a film must achieve and maintain an average score of 4★+ as rated by no less than 50% of the Cinema Boys. High praise indeed! However, there is more ... A film can ascend beyond the Certified rank if it achieves and maintains an average score of 4.3★+ after judgement has been cast by every Cinema Boy. These truly blessed films belong in the Hall of Fame. Long may they reign.
